Wow, what good am I at keeping a journal if it's been almost 3 months and I've only written one entry so far!!! Come on Jordyn! Get it together. So as much as I don't want to continue this family series but i'm still gonna finish what I started. Next in my series is my mother. My mom's full name is Brenda Anne and she works as a children's assistant at my church. On top of church work she always has time to pick me and my sisters up from school and gives us a smile everyday. Right now we are camping and she is reading in a red velvet chair right beside me as I type this. She looks like she is enjoying it. We are at camp Kawkawa because my dad is the speaker this week so the whole family is here to enjoy the relaxing and fun vacation. My mom is apparently going to be helping my dad this week, like being the speakers assistant so my dad got all the kids here at camp think of a name for her and they picked Maple. So from now on my mom's camp name will be maple. I already told her that when we get home that name won't be gone. I will be calling her that for a while now. My mom sounds pretty fun right? Well your right, I gotta go now though so my next entry will be on Me because I am the next oldest in the family. Talk to you later alligator.

My Family, a 5 part series

My Family Part 1

So yes I'm doing a series on my family so I figured it's only fitting to do my family in order of age (including me) So my Dad is the oldest in the family and that means.......... YOU GUESSED IT (you're so smart) I'm blogging about my dad!!!! My dad is a great guy! ( I mean, what go you expect me to say? The truth????? HAH! I'm just kidding Dad. Love you) my dad is the youth pastor at an Alliance church where I live. Youth group is every Thursday night, and he always asks for my input on fun events he is planning because i'm one of his youth. When he isn't working he definitly keeps me on top of my school work. After supper we like to play Lego Star wars together and since i watched the Avengers in theatres when it came out my dad has been showing me the back story of every Avenger in the movie. So far we've only gotten through Iron Man and Iron Man 2. I love it it's so much fun. Also once a year my Daddy takes me on a special date just me and him every July. I know that my dad loves me and it's nice to know that. He also loves my mom and my 2 sisters which is very good. I just thought of something. I thought that it's really funny how i'm writing this blog about my Dad the same week as Fathers Day. :) Well that's what my dad is like and I still don't know what to get him so I have to go think of something to get him now. toodleloo!!!
